Objectives:

The aim of the course is to enhance the students' communicative competence through a variety of activities that include debating the content of best seller books in different areas such as human development , language learning techniques , study skills, etc. the students are supposed to speak their minds about the content of the proposed reading list in an argumentative manner. Groups discussions will be carried out with the guidance of the teacher.

1-      English Idioms and their significance of use.

2-      The importance of reading for vocabulary acquisition.

3-      Expressing opinions (useful expressions)

4-      Critical thinking techniques

5-      Books for reading comprehension, discussion and debate
